Meet Dave...

Dave is Managing Director and the proud third generation of his family to be involved at Hellewells.  Originally starting as the ‘Saturday Boy’ in the 1970s he is now responsible for all aspects of the business
clarke hellewells
A vastly experienced tailor, Clarke joined Hellewells in 2003 from another menswear shop. With 25 years’ experience in men’s tailoring and made to measure fitting, he has made contract suits for Lancashire Constabulary, Bamber Bridge FC and BAE, to name just a few. As a season ticket holder at Preston North End, it was a particularly huge honour for Clarke to make the suit for Preston legend Sir Tom Finney when he was awarded his knighthood in 1998.

Johnny joined the Hellewells team in 2016 and has worked in the menswear trade for many years. He has been a manager and area manager in several well known chains during his career. He has an eye for style detail and accessorising your outfit.

 

Meet Ben...

 

Ben joined the team in January 2019 from a well known up market store. He was trained in their Liverpool store on the suit department and has proved himself to be a great asset to the business. Don't think his youthful looks mean he hasn't got the experience - he has plenty!

Sue has worked in retail in Preston for many years, gaining experience from various outlets.  She joined Hellewells in 2012 and now assists with all aspects of the business.
Eugene has been a tailor for over 40 years, 30 of which have been in Preston where he ran his own business before coming to work exclusively for Hellewells in 2007.  He takes care of all alterations at the shop, and can often do small alterations while you wait.
